If you ever watch the news, or even take a quick minute to people watch, you become aware of how much change has occurred in the way that people treat each other. In this day in age people will fly off the handle for something as simple as accidentally cutting them off on the freeway or staring in their direction for too long. This behavior usually results in a hostile remark, usually containing some profanity, starting a modern day #wordsthatcanstartawar.
What ever happened to being polite and respecting others, especially elders? Throughout history it seems the human hypothetical fuse has gotten shorter and shorter. The question at hand is, what words can start a war?
These days, pretty much any word in the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary could start a war of words. It makes you wonder what has changed to make people so angry with life? Maybe it's because life has become so fast paced. People have no time for themselves anymore. Life revolves around work, family,......and then back to work. People are living life completely stressed out, which could lead to a short fuse and flying off the handle at the slightest comment or look.
Our recommendation, take a time out once in awhile and do something you enjoy without thinking about all of life's stresses. It may help avoid the battles we encounter on an everyday basis.
